Cole Stevenson
Cole Stevenson is an animator, programmer, and director, originally from Edmonton, Alberta. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computing Science from the University of Alberta Specializing in image processing and 3D animation. He is the creator of several animated shorts which have been screened at festivals and events around the world. On top of his short films, Cole has also worked extensively in the field of creative coding and generative artwork. His work also focuses a lot on the idea of using computers to recreate more traditional mediums, such as claymations and paper cutouts.

Short Films
Early Birds (2021) - Early Birds is a computer-animated short about a penguin who just wants a friend to play with. It was written, directed, and animated by Cole Stevenson. It has currently received official selections from thirteen film festivals including winning best humor film at the Paella International Film Festival and best animated film at the Emerging Artist Film Festival.
Melted Hearts (2020) - Melted Hearts is a computer-animated film about a snowman's journey to "make" a friend. It was written, directed, and animated by Cole Stevenson. It has currently received official selections from 8 film festivals and won the Peers Choice Award at the Edmonton Short Film Festival.

Creative Coding
All of these project were generated with code in programs like Processing and R, some were then staged and lit in blender using bpy scripts.
